Sushi Kaji reminded me of our time in Japan—simple, honest cooking that lets the ingredients do the talking. An absolutely incredible experience! Every bite was a surprise, with fresh, high quality seafood and such a great variety of flavours and textures. Each plate was beautifully presented, like little works of art. The atmosphere was amazing and felt so authentic. The staff were super friendly and made the whole evening even better. Definitely a perfect spot for special occasions or just treating yourself to something amazing. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the experience and food quality is incredible. Can't wait to come back here! Portions are small but there's a lot of them so it's definitely worth the price. Each dish has a very unique flavor and the staff come over to explain each one in detail. There wasn't a single dish we didn't like here.

I was very excited to try Sushi Kaji as it was one of the original omakase in Toronto, it set the foundation for omakase in the city. Overall the food quality and variety was excellent with very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

We've been coming to Sushi Kaji for 17 years. Always an extraordinary experience. The staff is professional, they remember your name and face even if you've been away for a while. Mr Kaji is a one-of-a-kind character. Master of his craft, and very funny even though he can seem serious/stoic behind the counter. We had the full Omakase course last night but I stopped taking photos once the sushi started coming. You need to concentrate and eat quickly to do the food justice!!

One of my favorite Omakase restaurants in GTA. Loved the food and dining experience. Excellent value, fresh sashimi fishes from Japan and other countries. Loved how each dish is presented. Generally, the chefs' approach to the dishes are more traditional than fusion. Plum wine is a great pairing with the menu.
